Otterburn

  • Description

"Within the trees there's a small car park at which there's an interpretation board giving information concerning the Battle of Otterburn which took place to the left of the plantation and a little higher on the slope. Also within the trees are the remains of Percy's Cross, erected apparently to commemorate the battle. The village of Otterburn is less than a mile from the site." Photo by Trevor Littlewood, 2015.
