  • Description

"This station opened in 1887, replacing the original building dated 1850. It has been restored and is the home of Barter Books with a stock of over 350,000 secondhand volumes. In the background is the memorial column for the 2nd Duke of Northumberland." Photo by Jim Barton, 2015.
