Flight Calibration Service

  • Description

"The CAA operated two of these aircraft to check the accuracy of instrument landing systems at UK airports. They have now been retired from service and the work has passed to a contractor. Sharing the hangar are an aircraft tug and a Land Rover - the latter being the instrument of choice for debris collection and bird scaring missions. " Photo by Martin Addison, 1994.
