"Churchyard cross, probably C13. Gritstone. Monolithic shaft has chamfered angles with broach stops at base, bracelet cross head. Overall height 2.9 m. Octagonal base now at ground level; steps probably beneath present ground level. A rare survival of a complete early medieval churchyard cross...."
