Footbridge, Harbottle

  • Description

"This is the metal footbridge over the River Coquet about 250m from the village of Harbottle which is in the direction of the camera. The bridge stands alongside a ford across the river, see [[456177]], which is rough and deep, hence the need for a footbridge, and there is likely to have been a bridge here of one form or another going back many years."
