Passenger lifts at Alnmouth Station

  • Description

"In 2013 new passenger lifts opened at Alnmouth Station. The lifts were built to allow step free access between platforms without having to cross the tracks. The lift towers were built adjoining the existing footbridge across the tracks. The footbridge before the addition of the lifts can be seen here: [[1365885]] and some of the work in progress can be seen here: [[3031377]]." Photo by Graham Robson, 2014.
