  • Description

Huge scale model of the RMS Mauretania (31,938 tons, 790' loa), which served the Cunard Line from 1907-1935. She is depicted here in cruising configuration in the 1930s, with white hull. This model, originally from Franklin Roosevelt's personal collection, is on display in the National Museum of American History's On the Water exhibit, in Washington, DC. I need to come back with a wider lens to get the whole model in the image!
