"English: RMS Mauretania (1906) during her speed trials, heading south past St. Abbs Head Lighthouse. This picture was taken when RMS Mauretania was undergoing her unofficial sea trials. She has just completed the measured mile, to the north of St. Abbs Head." Mauretania during a speed trial off St. Abbs, Scotland, 18 September 1907. Best speed obtained was 25.73 knots.
