  • Description

"A new square, known as the Student Forum, was created by demolition of the former Museum of Antiquities building revealing the rear facade of the imposing Armstrong Building from the newly pedestrianised KIngs Walk [[1761997]]. It is now home to the three-piece art work 'Generation' by Joseph Hillier, a former University Fine Art graduate, originally commissioned by One North East in 2003 [[4751526]] The three heads were relocated to the University after closure of the regional development agency, One North East, in 2011 https://my.ncl.ac.uk/staff/nuconnections/item/campus-update2" Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2015.
