    "Technical college, 1929/30 by G.R. Dawbarn; and S. Easten (Newcastle), builder. Portland ashlar, with granite plinth, and marble and granite door surround. Welsh slate roofs. E-plan, with short 2-storey rear middle wing. Restrained Classical style. 2 storeys and attic, 3+5+3+5+3 bays....."
