Coquet Bridge, Rothbury
-
Description
"Taken a few days after the Moat affair, work is proceeding on stabilising the river banks on both sides of the bridge. The tall white object is a piler; an earth auger (like an enormous screw) is used to make holes, which are lined with steel tubes then filled with reinforced concrete." Photo by Mike White, 2010. -
