    The pub sign of the Ship Inn, Ouseburn. Situated in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle, known locally as the "Top Ship" to distinguish it from the "Bottom Ship" near to the mouth of the Ouseburn where it joins the river Tyne. The "Bottom Ship" was the Ship Tavern but is now known as "The Tyne".
