Pink granite plinth, sandstone pedestal with bronze plaques and bronze statue.....Front of pedestal has bronze laurel wreath; sides and rear have plaques naming those who died. Pedestal surmounted by life-sized statue of kneeling World War I infantryman with fixed bayonet...."
