    "Looking down the River Wear to this huge railway viaduct. It was built in 1838 and originally carried the main London to Edinburgh line, but in 1872 the main line was rerouted through the Team Valley in Gateshead. The line here closed in 1991." Photo by Robert Graham, 2013.
