Former museum, Newcastle upon Tyne

  • Description

"Newcastle upon Tyne must be unique in having such a large open space as the Town Moor almost reaching the town centre. At the Town Moor's south end lies Exhibition Park and in that, this building, the former Museum of Science and Engineering. That museum closed and the exhibits were transferred to the city's Discovery Museum. Since then the building has housed a museum of military vehicles which currently is also closed."
