Lodges and gate piers near Kiln Pit Hill
-
Description
"A pair of late-C18th Gothick lodges flanking the west entrance to Minsteracres. The addition of the 'k' signifies that the Gothicism is only skin deep, these are essentially classical buildings with a Gothic overcoat - see the pointed window tracery. The gate piers have very pointy pyramidal caps. Grade II listed." Photo by Stephen Richards, 2010. -
