"The remains of a medieval cross which is said to have once stood at the centre of a medieval village which once occupied the site. The cross itself is grade II listed list.english-heritage.org.uk/resultsingle.aspx?uid=1045880 The cross also forms part of a wider site which is a scheduled monument and includes the surrounding field which formed the core of the village.
