  • Description

"The Dexter is a small breed of cattle originating in Ireland http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dexter_cattle Archaeology suggests Anglo-Saxon oxen were of a similar shape and size. Two Dexters are kept on the experimental farm, Gyrwe, called Edwin and Oswin. The cart is based on a manuscript illustration." Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2010.
