"Public house, formerly a coaching inn. Late C18. Brick in English Garden Wall Bond. Slightly later additions to rear, random rubble with ashlar dressings; pantiled roofs. Main block 2 storeys, 3 bays. 12-pane sashes in plain reveals with flat brick arches. Right bay has 9-pane sash on 1st floor and, on ground floor, projecting single-storey one-bay wing with 12-pane sash. Gabled roof with tumbled-in brickwork....." -
