    "A shortened chimney identifies the site of this former brickworks and tilery. The house just off right is a private residence retains the name Carrs Tilery. I haven't been able to find out much about the place other than a William Powell is listed in Bulmer's Directory of 1890 as the manager. For other info. see [[625028]] and [[625204]]."
