"Gatehouse; incorporating St. Helen's Chapel, now muniment room. Circa 1500 for Prior Castell (1494-1519); restored c.1860. Coursed squared sandstone with chamfered ashlar plinth and ashlar dressings. Arched gateway with lodge on north and chapel above. 2 storeys, 1 bay....."
