"We are a small group of like minded individuals who wish to preserve the mining heritage of our village and the industrial heritage of it's coastline." The group restored the last remaining Marsden Lodge Banner, is now on permanent display in Whitburn Library. The Group's Website includes extensive information about the Marsden area.
May 2025: the Website could no longer be found - but is indexed in the Internet Archive - Wayback Machine.

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria.
