Providence and River Mite

  • Description

    River Mite was built for the Ravenglass and Eskdale Preservation society in 1967. Built by Clarksons of York it was transported to the railway hauled by traction engine 'Providence'. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the locomotive was brought to Beamish and reunited with Providence, being hauled around the site during the Great North Steam Fair. 7th March 2017.
