Trinity Square Car Park from the south

  • Description

"My first photograph of the 'Get Carter' car park, and maybe my last. Demolition of the surrounding buildings is now well in progress. It was an ideal day for such a visit, fine drizzle and grey sky. The pros and cons of the building are discussed here http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/6763067.stm but the arguments to keep it have been lost. A planning application for the site includes a new Tesco store, shops, a hotel and student accommodation." Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2010.
