Windmill House

  • Description

Large beds of golden reeds surround this old windmill, which has been converted to a residential property in recent years. It is nestled amongst sand dunes that provide a natural barrier to the sea, which lies immediately beyond this point. The base of the windmill is thus sheltered from the excesses of gales blowing in from the sea, but its blades would have stood high enough to catch their full force and provide energy to drive mechanisms within the structure.
