Home from home at Morpeth Castle

  • Description

An Englishman's castle can be your holiday home in the market town of Morpeth, Northumberland. The gatehouse, dating from 1350, is run by The Landmark Trust and operates as a holiday destination. Among those who visited the property during an open day was former builder Bill Bell, whose family rented the castle for many years. It was a nostalgic first return, but Mr Bell found there had been many changes. To inquire about booking: 01628 825925 bookings@landmarktrust.org.uk
