'Riverside Rivets', Gateshead Riverside Park

  • Description

"An artwork by Andrew McKeown (2010). Each of the oversized rivets are inscribed with the names of communities that are adjacent to the riverside. Local children made casts of their favourite objects which were then encased within the sculptures. A lorry is crossing the Redheugh Bridge above." Photo by Andrew Curtis, 2012.
