Tyne & Wear: Gateshead: THE CENTRAL
-
Description
Dating from 1856 and now part of the excellent Head of Steam group, the recently renovated THE CENTRAL, situated in the junction between Half Moon Lane and Hills Street, Gateshead, was pictured on December 27th 2010. The bridge on the left of the picture carries the Network Rail route down the Durham coast, whilst the area at the top left of the building will eventually form a viewing terrace. THE CENTRAL appears in the 2012 edition of the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. I've managed a picture of the viewing terrace from a passing train, which can be found at http://www.flickr.com/photos/emdjt42/5416179280/">www.flickr.com/photos/emdjt42/5416179280/ http://www.theheadofsteam.co.uk" >www.theheadofsteam.co.uk -
