"Church, 1871-73, by Hill and Swan. Brick with stone dressings and sandstone ashlar facing to principal east front. Hipped slate roof. 2 storeys and basement. 5 bays to front. Flight of 12 stone steps leads up to Corinthian tetrastyle portico in middle 3 bays...."
