    Blacksmiths, Allendale. People, L-R. Isaac Dixon of Prospect Hill, who had a butchers shop where the present Dale Salon is. Matthew Maughan, a Catton farmer. Jack Hutchinson, apprentice blacksmith, born 1906. William Hutchinson, Jack’s father and the blacksmith.
