    "Located in Forest Hall, today a district to the outer north of Newcastle upon Tyne. The Ritz Cinema was opened on 9th November 1936 with Laurel & Hardy in “The Bohemian Girl”. Designed by noted Newcastle architectural firm Percy Lindsey Browne & Son, seating was provided for 687 in the stalls and 375 in the circle....." Includes photos of the building when it was a cinema.
