WYLAM SIGNAL BOX - List Entry

    "Signal box. Later C19. Brick, wood and cast-iron. Two high brick walls on either side of railway line support iron frame of 2 elliptical arches with trellis-work parapet above. Signal box above this has panelled wood base, then boarded sides, then small-paned windows. The central section of each window is a horizontal sliding sash. Pyramidal roof, with external brick stack on right return. Cast-iron stairs to rear."
