Bastle house, Cambo
-
Description
"A 16th century bastle house it has also been a shop and a post office. The lintel above what was a shop window is marked "J.T. 1818". As a bastle house it is unusual in that it was built with three floors rather than the more usual two." Photo by Phil Thirkell, 2006, and licensed for reuse under a Creative Commons Licence. -
