Old Bridge

Lesbury

  • Description

"The old bridge at Lesbury carried the A1068 over the River Aln. A scheduled ancient monument and listed grade I, the bridge is probably 15th century with 19th century alterations. The car partly hidden behind the wall has just crossed the river on the new bridge." Photo by Michael Dibb, 2011, and licensed for reuse under a Creative Commons Licence.
