    "The rear of the Town Hall in Fenkle Street. The building dates from 1731 with the clock tower added in 1767. The building is listed grade I. A memorial tablet reads: "This Town House of the Burgesses of Alnwick rebuilt in the year of Our Lord 1731 by Edward Grey, Richard Grieve, William Forster, Robert Claxton: Chamberlains."
