Mine spoil near to Greenlaws Hush

  • Description

"Greenlaws Hush is a relic of the lead mining industry as is the 'collar' of mine spoil that would have surrounded a (perhaps) shallow mine shaft. The ground rises to the right out of the image to Chapel Fell, one of the main moorland hills of Weardale, which is the valley below in the image."
