  • Description

Official webpage from the ferry operator. "The Shields Ferry operates a daily passenger service across the river Tyne which connects the local communities of North and South Shields. With its regular 30 minute frequency and 7 minute river crossing time, the ferry is a quick and easy way to travel, whether you’re commuting to work, visiting friends or just out shopping for the day. Local buses also serve the ferry landings either side of the river, providing an easy connection for onward travel.
