At North Shields Police Court today, Robert Wilson, alias Farrell (27), cartman, Berwick, was charged with having on Saturday night stolen four pairs of men’s drawers, valued at 6s, from the shop door of the Cash Clothing Company, Saville Street West. Chief Constable Huish proved previous convictions against the accused, who was committed to prison for three months”.
