    Janet Piercy was born in gates head and then moved to Washington in 1972 so she has lived in Tyneside all her life. Her most happy memory is in new town built only in the 1970`s so it was brand new. They had a big park in the center of Washington which had big adventure parks and cross country tracks> It had a big lake with concrete crocodiles in.At the lake she use to sail model boats. she was in a boating club. she was in the club for 4-5 years. They sailed every sunday. She competed in competitions. She was in a national competitions. She was first in the national competition in 1987.
