Jensmond dene

  • Description

As a family we used to go for walks and picnics to jesmond dene which is a public park in the east of Newcastle Upon Tyne it has a small stream called the Ouseburn. The park was given to the city by William Armstrong ! Jesmond dene also has a petting zoo. My mam has great memories of going there with me , my sister and my dad and she can rember going there with her parents. In the summer we had picnics on the grass and in the autumn we collected conkers from the horse chestnut tree and in the winter the scenery is beatuiful in the show ! We are so lucky to have somewhere so beautiful on our door step.
