The Second Fiddler's Tune Book

  • Description

Published by the English Folk Dance and Song Society in 1954, the source book is a collection of 100 traditional airs, from hornpipes to polkas. Deirdre McHugh, once the owner of the book, has starred Wittle Dean, The Blackbird and Maggie Brown among some of her favourites. In the back pages, she has transcribed The Connaught Man's Rambles and the Pedlar. Inside the cover, there's a sketch of a countryside manor house drawn in pencil.
