  • Description

When does history happen?-press release How did a little piece of Africa end up in Garth 22, Killingworth? Is now the best time to live on Tyneside? What would Tyneside be like without the River Tyne? What was here but isn’t now? What’s a Geordie? What’s the future of Tyneside? What would Britain be like without Tyneside? What’s Tyneside’s best piece of art? Who is the greatest person to come from North Tyneside? What have Tynesiders ever done for us? These are the questions that George Stephenson High School students have been trying to answer, in all of our year 7 classes. The answers will be displayed in the Hancock museum, where our exhibition will be shown from February to March, 2015, and you can find out what they are for yourself.
