    We've had a delve into our extensive photographic archive and unearthed these gems of the Steetley Magnesium works in Hartlepool. First of two batches, more to follow! Hartlepool Magnesia Works, 1944 - view from hydration plant, showing office block. Note that the seawrds ide of the block is covered in sand and grass as camouflage. The open construction on the right is the building to house No 3 rotary Kiln (part of the 1942 extension to raise capacity to 26,000 tons.)
