    We've had a delve into our extensive photographic archive and unearthed these gems of the Steetley Magnesium works in Hartlepool. First of two batches, more to follow! Hartlepool Magnesia Works, 26th April 1944 - in foreground is the building housing No 1 hydrator showing a railcar standing in the tipping shed built over a bunker to hold the dolime prior to entering an elevator to transport material into the building.
