    We've had a delve into our extensive photographic archive and unearthed these gems of the Steetley Magnesium works in Hartlepool. Hartlepool Magnesia Works, 1959 - aerial view taken during a helicopter flight by Bob Wilson (Works Manager). It is interesting as it shows the plant shortly before the 1960s developments - jetty, 6 Settler, new chimney, removal of the older reserve tanks and introduction of Herreshoff furnaces to the operation.
