Description
The Jack engine for the 1855 Winding Engine has received attention to enable it to run regularly. It was installed to assist in rope changes on and off the main winding drum which is above the visitor’s head when in the engine house. One of the many Planned Exhibits for Power from the Past which takes place from 30th August - 2nd September 2012.
