Evacuees at Beamish - Written Work from School Children

  • Description

Written work from Birtley East Primary School after taking part in our immersive Evacuees project. The sessions at Beamish involve children being evacuated to the Museum's Home Farm following a session with Beamish staff. The aim is to give children who live in the North East today their own experience of what life might have been like if they'd been there as a child when war broke and families were spearated to face an unknown future.
