    Alnwick, Northumberland. Title: "200 Year Old Football. Whole Town joins in Annual Shrove Tuesday Game". M/S of a man in a top hat (the mayor? a local celebrity?) handing a football to one of a group of men, the ceremony is accompanied by a bag piper. M/S of a crowd of men and boys, one of the men kicks the football and they all rush forward. L/S of the anarchic football game; all the village's men chase the ball, they all wear everyday clothes. In the foreground is the goal post (a large arch decorated with greenery ) - various shots show the game centring around it.
