    Unissued / Unused material. Sunderland, Tyne and Wear. M/S Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II) releasing bottle which smashes against side of ship 'British Princess', pan back to her. M/S of her on platform watching it go. M/S's workers knocking blocks away before ship is launched, pan as ship goes down ramp. M/S Princess Elizabeth with bouquet of flowers, and on platform with official. M/S ship sliding away. Various shots as Elizabeth meets workers and officers. M/S as she walks along and receives flowers from little girl. She walks along under umbrella and through crowds in Sunderland. Various shots of the ship being launched and Elizabeth watching it. M/S of her walking through crowds. M/S pan along warship.
