Two bridges of Rothbury

  • Description

One bridge is under repair (left) and closed to traffic and predestrians. So that the two halves of Rothbury were not divided by a long way round, the council specified a temporary brodge, which is wide enough for one lane of traffic (protected by traffic lights), plus one human width (with passing places). With the original bridge closed, work continues apace to repair it.
